In this period we have always tried, within the limits of our ability especially economic, to ensure that the site is full of content but also the technical functionality. To provide new opportunities for use to visitors and new features, we have updated the technology platform for supporting content which we produced over the years and we also used this occasion to renew the graphic design of the site. I was a long and expensive work, made possible by the availability of exquisite Fabrizio Sisti, the chief of Webzone, service providers of our Association since its inception on the Internet.
We don’t list all the innovations to the site, find themselves navigating inside. We would however point out how important the ability to easily publish content in English. It’s an important function, because it helps further our efforts to renew ties with the many pettoranesi abroad, but especially with their sons and grandchildren, giving them the opportunity to interact in their mother language. At least, we remember that association, from a few days, is present with its own page on Facebook, the most famous and popular social network now on the net. As you can see in the box at the bottom left, are already so many "fan" of the Association. This gives us pleasure and rewards us, because it demonstrates that our activities are popular even outside of Pettorano and because it makes us guess, considering the opportunities offered by Facebook, the possibility to create a large and widespread network of pettoranesi to belong to which does not require the residence registry. |
