28 and March 29, 2010 also in Pettorano be held local elections to renew the City Council. Contrary to what occurred in 2004 when they were constituted well 4 lists of candidates, this time are only two sides who are applying to administer the town, both identified by civic lists. Candidate for mayor of the first list, "Insieme per la rinascita", is the engineer Carmelo Pantè 46 years; candidate for mayor of the second list, "Il Mulino", José Berarducci, a doctor of 53 years, the outgoing deputy mayor.
Saturday and Sunday the list "Il Mulino" has officially launched its election campaign by presenting the list in two crowded events held, respectively, the old town and villages and preceded by displaying a poster which explains the meaning of the symbol chosen. There are currently no public events were held instead of the list represented by Pantè. The programs and the symbols of the two lists, as required by law, were instead deposited in municipality office. In this regard we wish to make an observation. Often the electoral programs are the collection of good intentions or the wish list of candidates. Generally, in fact, emergencies, and the thousand daily obstacles caused by the complexity and distribution system of power and administrative functions, are losing sight of administrators, especially in small towns, what has been written according to the campaign. This is clearly perceived by voters that, consequently, tend not to view the programs as important to the vote. Instead, we think that the electoral programs are crucial, because in any case they clearly express and communicate to the community a strategic vision, indicating the elements that support that vision and identify the paths to follow for actions by administrative action. It is in this way to read we invite the pettoranesi voters to examine the programs of the lists that are compared.
